Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari is a technocrat entrepreneur, who founded the VBRI Group with the ideology of “Committed to Excellence”. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of the VBRI. Dr. Tiwari lead the translational research in the area of biomedical methods and smart devices. He is a world-renowned technocrat and pioneer in the area of Sensors, Molecular Electronics, Cloud Medicine, and Digital Healthcare. Dr. Tiwari invented AI-based healthcare technology such as zero-distance hospitals to revolutionize the life of masses when it comes to healthcare. Dr. Tiwari has been actively involved in the translational entrepreneurship for building the state-of-the-art technology realized by the integration of artificial intelligence and smart strategies to handle key challenges in medical, security, energy and environmental issues.
Dr. Tiwari believes in working towards social empowerment by collaborating with innovative young minds. With ideology of his social commitment, Ashutosh Tiwari has identified key breakthrough technologies that can make a change to human life for the better. With his knowledge and experience, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari has contributed to the development of several cutting-edge technologies. He can be considered as one of the pioneers in AI-based cloud medicine. He and his organizations have been working to change the face of the healthcare industry and eliminate barriers like distance, time, and financial obstacles. His efforts to make progresses in the fields of parallel medicine and implementation of cloud medicine are nothing short of revolutionary.
Dr. Tiwari and his team work to implement the digital technology into the equipment and methods employed in the healthcare sector. By amalgamating technologies like Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Machine Learning, they have developed a virtual healthcare technology named mHospitals that brings the healthcare services at home. The technology targets to serve 1 billion people in the coming decade. The platform has gone through an extensive range of field trials the results have been successful. So far, mHospitals has provided second opinion to patients and started performing surgeries. mHospitals also provides cloud care for Coronavirus. The COVID-19 Virtual Test KitTM assists in identifying the ‘Disease Hotspots and Tracking’.
Dr. Tiwari is a high-end professor and has also held several honorary/ adjunct professor titles since 2009.
Currently, Dr. Tiwari is involved mainly in the technological developments and translational research of a range of nanotechnology-enabled tools, technological breakthroughs, key processes, new products designed to transform the fields of energy, IT automation, security, and mass medicine.
Prof. Ashutosh Tiwari is the founder member and Secretary General of International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM). To make a permanent impact and institute a substantial contribution to the academia and industry, Dr. Tiwari created a community wherein researchers from all over the world are provided with a platform to share their new findings and indulge in extensive cooperation for the ‘advancement of materials to global excellence’.
Under the leadership of Dr. Tiwari, IAAM also created about 20 international consortiums in the area of translational research and innovation with esteemed professionals and experts to discuss the new age technology, challenges, and rising opportunities in the field of healthcare, energy, and environment.
The primary aim behind these international consortiums is to connect academia and industry and to create an innovative forum and discuss various issues along with the possible ways forward. These consortiums proved to be a valuable bridge between the academics, researchers, scientists, and industry professionals. By facilitating forums for knowledge sharing, building joint infrastructures, and to bring various business giants together, the International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM, has significantly enhanced the quality and efficiency of the partnerships that are formed within the scientific world and also between the industry professionals and scientific elites.
The idea of working with young and innovative minds has proved to be extremely successful and paved the way for some cutting-edge, modern, and highly useful technology for the market. Looking at the developments that IAAM has accelerated in ten years, it is quite reasonable to say that the International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM, has grown by leaps and bounds.
In this umbrella, Advanced Materials Congress (AMC) Was constituted by the International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM, in all major continents: Europe, Asia, USA, Australia, and Africa with the annual participation of over 2000+ delegates from 100+ countries. Since commencement of AMC, IAAM has hosted over 15,000 representatives from over 100 countries in its assemblies till February 2020. In order to create a highly interactive translational research community, Dr. Tiwari came up with “Knowledge Experience at Sea”, a concept of hosting the congresses on a single sea vessel, which has grown to become a huge success and a widely recognized platform of today.
To realize his dream of making the world of advanced materials more accessible, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari, along with some leading core members of IAAM, started the not-for-profit Diamond Open Access journal called ‘Advanced Materials Letters’, in the year 2010. The aim of the journal was to make sure that the community of materials science gets all the latest highlights in the field of advanced materials without any processing or subscription fee.
A few years later, Dr Tiwari’s efforts helped IAAM launch another open-access not-for-profit international journal called Advanced Materials Proceedings. Overall, in these two journals, IAAM has released as many as 134 issues that include more than 1800 quality articles contributed by more than 5000 researchers from over 60 countries. Throughout the last decade, IAAM has made significant efforts to take forward the not-for-profit publishing practices and introduced diamond open access journals and as a result, it has a global outreach of approximately 10,000 readers per month.
On the personal front as well, Prof. Ashutosh Tiwari has made a lot of efforts to promote the young minds. With a belief that the young minds of today will create the future of tomorrow, Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari has been promoting, inspiring, and encouraging young researchers, professionals, and students in various ways. Being from a village himself, he understands that not everyone gets an opportunity to travel abroad and work with great scientists and researchers. To make up for this lack of opportunities, Dr. Tiwari donated the funds from his salaries and royalties to build a higher education institute for promotion of law education and career development in his village. Ashutosh Tiwari, along with all his organizations, works with young researchers, professionals, students, interns, etc. and provides them access to world-class opportunities, a global network, and scope for unlimited advancement.
